Wearable Art

Dates: June 24 – 28 || 1pm – 4pm
Grades: 1-8 || Price: $150 (Includes Materials)

We’ll be working with a mix of fabric, metal & leather for this fun camp. Kids will create a wearable art project of their choice each day! We will choose the exact projects to create together so the kids’ get to make things they’re excited about- in the past these have inluded leather cuff bracelets, handmade dog tag necklaces, custom hats, socks, shirts & more.

Kids will learn and practice a range of skills during this camp that will likely include leatherworking, metal stamping, sewing, and sublimation. They’ll leave camp with useful handmade crafts that they can show off and be proud of!

Mixed Media

Dates: July 22 – 26 || FULL
Grades: 1-8 || Price: $150 (Includes Materials)

Mixed media art combines a variety of media in a single work. For example, if you draw with ink, then paint over it with watercolors, then add some highlights in colored pencil – that’s mixed media! Campers will create art pieces using different media- both analog and digital.

We’ll be working with paper, and on iPads occasionally. I have 4 iPads I’m able to loan out if your camper doesn’t have one, but if they do, feel free to send it along with them.

Tee Time

Dates: August 12 – 16 || 1pm – 4pm
Grades: 1-8 || Price: $150 (Includes Materials)

There are so many fun ways to make custom t-shirts, and we’ll be learning many of them during this fun camp week!

Every day kids will make their own custom tee! We’ll be using lots of different methods including tie-dye, blockout bleach, heat transfer vinyl, sublimation, and screen printing!

Some days, kids will have the option to create designs on iPads so if you have a kid-friendly iPad for your art camper to use, it would be great to send it with them to use Wednesday – Friday! I have some iPads here and kids are also able to share, so these aren’t necessary but a couple might be helpful.

Digital Art

Grades: 1-8 || Price: $150 (Includes Materials)

If you’ve got a creative kiddo who wants to learn how to digitize their artwork, or learn about how to create digital paintings, this is a great camp option for them!

We’ll be working with paper, and in Procreate on iPads, so campers will need an iPad with the Procreate app downloaded onto it for this camp. I have 4 iPads I’m able to loan out if your kiddo doesn’t have one, so please reach out to find out about availability if you’re interested in borrowing one for this camp. I also recommend that they bring a digital pencil- they’re available on amazon for $9.99 and will be a great tool for them to have.

Cricut Crafts

Grades: 1-8 || Price: $150 (Includes Materials)

There are so many fun things you can do with a Cricut cutting machine, and we’ll be exploring many of them during this camp week! We’ll start out with paper crafts and move to creating projects with vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, fabric, and more.

We’ll be working with paper, and in Procreate on iPads, so campers will need an iPad with the Procreate & Cricut Design Space apps downloaded onto it for this camp. I have 4 iPads I’m able to loan out if your kiddo doesn’t have one, so please reach out to find out about availability if you’re interested in borrowing one. I also recommend that they bring a digital pencil- they’re available on amazon for $9.99 and will be a great tool for them to have.

Grades: 1-8 || Price: $150 (Includes Materials)

Analog art is any art in which the materials being used to make the art are manipulated by hand. Drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking from ink and film photography are all considered analog. These are the traditional fine arts, made from tangible materials that are manipulated by hand or with simple tools, and these are the types of materials we will be using for our art projects during this camp!

We will have several projects througout the week using lots of different materials. Young artists will have the chance to try out working with pencils, inks, paints, clay and more, on various papers, fabrics & surfaces.

Please let us know in the registration notes if your child has any special needs or allergies. We will provide a snack but also welcome campers’ snacks from home since you know what they like best! During breaks, kids love to jump on the trampoline with sprinklers so if that sounds fun to your camper, feel free to send with a towel, wearing clothes that can get wet.

If you have multiple kiddos who would like to attend the same camp, we’d love to extend a sibling discount of $25 for each additional camper.
