with Procreate

In this course, students will be introduced to digital painting using the iPad app Procreate. Students will need an iPad with the app Procreate ($12.99 one-time purchase) downloaded onto it, and a digital pencil. I have 4 iPads available for students to borrow during the course so please reach out to check availability if you have a child who is interested in the course but doesn’t have an iPad.

Students will learn how to use the app to create digital paintings that can be printed out or sublimated onto other clothing or merchandise. They’ll learn how to use the tools and begin to understand the incredible potential for creativity using this powerful app. 

Over the course of the semester, students will create many one of a kind pieces including life forms and landscapes, and will finish the class with several of their own digital paintings to proudly display.
